Cure Parkinson’s Trust is the largest organization of its kind in the UK, and has the bold aim of completely curing parkinsons disease. Founded by patients, they are funding linked clinical trials which identify new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s Disease by repurposing drugs that have been approved to treat other conditions. They are collaborating with Patrick Brundin from Van Andel Institute (VAI) on a new drug that has been getting amazing results.  This collaboration between VAI and CPT is really important as doing the trials abroad is much cheaper.
