Michigan State has always been a huge part of my life (Go Green, Go White). In conjunction with the decision by the University to raise my #23 into the Ring of Honor at Spartan Stadium, a truly one of a kind and special event was organized by generous supporters from West Michigan. The “Gibby and Friends vs. Parky” fundraiser was held before the game against Notre Dame on September 23, 2017, and exceeded our goals by raising $1.2 million. Proceeds slated to benefit MSU, KGF, Van Andel Institute, and Spectrum Health, who will collaborate on Parkinson’s research trials.
